A family of five outgrew their apartment before they outgrew their neighbourhood, so the brief was simple: build a four-bedroom home a five-minute walk from the old one, and make it feel like it had always been theirs.
The plan turns on a double-height living room lit from two sides, with walnut joinery running unbroken from the entry hall into the kitchen. Every wardrobe, bed platform, and shelf was drawn to the family's own measurements — the children's rooms grow with them, storage-first, finishes second.
Nineteen weeks from signed drawings to handover, with the same site team present at both ends.
